Abstract: Two glassworks are presented, the creation of which uses a semi-regular solid cuboctahedron. The technologies of their creation are described: blowing glass in a wooden mould and blowing glass in a metal mould. The mathematical foundations for creating the two moulds are described.

Keywords: glasswork, cuboctahedron, symmetry, digital competence, mathematics and art, STEAM.MSC 2010: 97M80
