Abstract: Building upon the strong groundwork established in our inaugural issue on “Symmetry and asymmetry for a diverse array of phenomena”, we are delighted to introduce the second instalment of Volume 34. This issue serves as a testament to the interdisciplinary essence of our journal, delving into numerous phenomena and the profound impact of symmetry across a wide range of subjects. From the aesthetics of architecture to the intricacies of mathematical algorithms, from the depths of music history to the visualization of DNA, and from urban development to the dynamics of socioeconomic systems, the theme of symmetry weaves through the fabric of our collective knowledge. In these pages, we have compiled five remarkable contributions that illuminate fascinating aspects of their respective fields. We thank the authors and reviewers who contributed to this second edition, enriching the discourse, and ensuring the high quality of the contributions. Their dedication and expertise have been influential in the creation of this volume, and we greatly appreciate their valuable contributions.
