Abstract: Can we combine artistic creativity with mathematical and geometric thinking? Can we connect mathematics and geometry with art/neoplastic? In our paper we will present some activities that can be integrated in the classroom using the dynamic software Sketchpad as a tool for elementary and high school age students. They can also be presented to mathematics teachers to give them new ideas for teaching with a different perspective on mathematics and art. This work is a proof that neoplasticity is mathematics.
Keywords: neoplasticism, mathematics, geometry, teaching, Sketchpad
