INVERSION AS A LANGUAGE FOR FLORAL VISUALIZATION

Abstract: Flowers captivate us with their colour and scent. Flowers and mathematics – can they be related? It is known that mathematics is the language of science. Does this include flora? In this paper, to answer these questions, we will show how mathematical and geometric transformations can be applied to the visualisation of flowers using a dynamic geometry programme as a powerful tool.
