THE GENERALIZATION OF CLELIA CURVES

Abstract: A few biographical notes about the life of Clelia Grillo Borromeo and of her husband, Count Giovanni Benedetto Borromeo Arese, are given. This article discusses the spherical curves, called clélie, dedicated to her by L. Guido Grandi. Then some possible generalizations of the clélie curves are proposed.
