Abstract: This article describes some results of researches of molecular ensembles of the genetic coding system with connection to extended musical creativity and architecture. The study proposes a concept of “Genometrica” that combines elements of bioinformatics, biomechanics, music, and architecture. From a common, philosophical, and methodological position, we have considered: Odoevsky’s piano, the musical instrument Pentagramon, the geometry of the living, the principles of genetic coding, and architecture of the past. The other side of Genometrica is a new class of algorithms of information processing. Algorithms for scaling and visualization of nucleotide sequences were presented, which made it possible to identify the relationship between the biochemical parameters of DNA/RNA molecules with scale invariance, simultaneously fractal clusters, impressive patterns, and symmetries of visual representations in orthogonal coordinate systems. The presented algorithms made it possible to display the structure of the nucleotide sequences of living organisms by visualizing them in spaces of various types. The proposed method contributes to an in-depth understanding of the principles of genetic coding, simplifying the perception of structural features of genetic information with specialized visualization technologies.

Keywords: hidden symmetries; DNA; binary opposition; pentagram music; Fibonacci numbers; fractals; visualization; history.
